- To renew your Real Estate License in the state of New York, you are required to complete 22.5 hours of continuing education every two years.
- Real Estate License expires every two years. Continuing education must be completed before expiration. No continuing education course will b considered for continuing education credit more than once in a two year renewal period.
- Course providers must submit to the department a list of attendees who completed the approved course. Providers must submit this information within 15 days of course completion.
- Course providers must furnish students with a certificate of completion. Course providers must retain a record of attendance for a minimum of three years.
